Suitcase 45s - No. 3: Merry Christmas

While working on the hundredth episode of the show, I thought I'd use the under-utilized Suitcase 45s to showcase a couple of my favorite podsafe Christmas songs. Merry Christmas, everyone, and a Happy New Year.

99: 'Til The Evening Comes Around

I woke up from my post-Thanksgiving Dinner to put together a new installment of Suitcase Full of Dimes. Now I think I'll have some leftovers and sleep for another two days. Enjoy the show.

PS: Anyone who buys the Eisenhowers album "Film Your Own Atrocities" through the band's website will get a free mini-album called "Peep-Show Etiquette." The special EP features acoustic versions, rare demos and previously-unavailable tracks from the Eisenhowers catalogue.

98: You Can Try But You Can't Stop Me

It's a warm fall day here in northern Virginia. With Halloween past and the biggest election in my lifetime days away, I thought it time to release another episode of the show. Don't forget to tune in to Pop Garden Radio tonight at 10pm Eastern (starting just after the Orlando Magic game) for Adam Waltemire's interviews with Mike Viola, The Smith Bros., and Chewy Marble, and, as usual, my music trivia segment.

97: Like An Old Balloon

This coming Monday the 13th will mark the two-year anniversary of the podcast. And it has come a long way since those early, non-podsafe days. It would have been cool if the hundredth show coincided with the anniversary, but it just wasn't meant to be. This installment of the podcast is especially entertaining and reminds me, in some ways, of that first podcast. Several of the artists and bands here have become favorites of mine in the course of 97 episodes. I hope some of them will become your favorites as well.
